Ten Alps Plc ('Ten Alps') announces that its TV production company Blakeway/3BM
has produced the Panorama programme on the Litvenenko affair due to be broadcast
on BBC1 at 8.30pm on Monday 22 January and is co-producing the Storyville
programme on the same subject for BBC2 the same night.
Blakeway/3BM also has two other investigative TV productions in progress as well
as others in broadcaster-funded development.
Fast-turnaround current affairs TV production is a new strand of business for
the Ten Alps group. The programmes are executive-produced by Fiona Stourton,
who joined Ten Alps from the BBC in Autumn 2006.
Blakeway/3BM was formed this month by Ten Alps from the merger of two
separately-acquired companies, Blakeway Productions and 3BM TV, following the
end of their respective earnouts. It remains based in Shepherd's Bush, sharing
an office building with Ten Alps TV, the group's entertainment division, whose
Harvey Goldsmith Presents series is scheduled for broadcast by Channel 4 in late
March.
