                                 AGM Statement



At today's Annual General Meeting of Zotefoams plc Nigel Howard, the Company's
Chairman, will make the following statement:



'Trading in the first four months of this year is, overall, in line with our
expectations.  In Polyolefins, moderate growth in the UK and European markets
compared to the same period in 2006 has been offset by slower sales in North
America, where last year we had a strong start and benefited from more
favourable exchange rates.



Sales of High-Performance Polymers are currently at a similar level to the
equivalent period in 2006 but as we stated in our preliminary results on 6 March
2007, confirmed orders received in 2007 are already in excess of 2006 total
sales.  We are also working on a number of exciting additional projects in our
key target markets of aerospace, pharmaceutical and semiconductor.  Although the
timing of sales from these opportunities is uncertain we believe they will offer
good future potential for the business.



We therefore remain confident of the Company's prospects.'
