                           Notice of interim results


Zotefoams plc announces that Mr Randall Redd, President of the company's US
subsidiary Zotefoams Inc., has today resigned from the board in order to
pursue other business interests. Mr Mike Lewsey, Sales and Marketing Director
will assume his responsibilities in the US with immediate effect.

The company continues to make good progress towards the completion of its
global sales, marketing and technology alliance with Sekisui Chemical Company
Limited of Japan. A full update on this agreement will be provided when
Zotefoams announces its interim results for the 6 months ended 30 June 2000 on
Tuesday 8 August 2000.
