                                 Board Changes

Zotefoams plc today announces the appointment of Mr Andrew Gingell as Managing
Director, with immediate effect.

Mr Gingell joined Zotefoams' board as Chief Operating Officer in October 1998.
Prior to joining Zotefoams he was Managing Director of Cray Valley Limited, a
UK subsidiary of Total.

In line with the Board's management succession plan, Mr Bill Fairservice will
move from executive to part-time executive Chairman upon Mr Gingell's
appointment.


Commenting on the changes, Bill Fairservice said:

'We are delighted to have someone of Andrew's calibre and experience taking
over the reins as Managing Director. I will be remaining as Chairman in a
part-time capacity, in order that we can maximise the resources dedicated to
the successful globalisation of our business.'
