ZYTRONIC PLC
Acquisition of Intasolve
Zytronic plc ('Zytronic' or 'the Company'), a designer and
manufacturer of electronic display screens, is pleased to announce
the acquisition of the whole of the issued share capital of
Intasolve Limited ('Intasolve').
Intasolve is expected to enhance Zytronic's involvement in the
touch screen market through its expertise in the assembly of touch
screens and its sales of, inter alia, infra-red touch screen
products.
The initial purchase consideration for Intasolve is £100,000 in
cash, plus 113,636 Ordinary Shares of 1p each in the Company
allotted to the Intasolve vendor. These shares rank pari passu in
all respects with the existing ordinary shares in the Company.
Application has been made to the London Stock Exchange for these
shares to be quoted on AIM and it is expected that dealings will
commence on 4 September 2000. Further payments in cash of either
£75,000 or £100,000 may become due to the vendor depending upon
the performance of Intasolve in the year to 30 April 2001.
John Kennair, Executive Chairman, commented:
'Although small, Intasolve extends both the skill base and the
product range within Zytronic and will also enhance the marketing
of the new touch screen product. Zytronic's trading and the
development of the new touch screen technology are in line with
expectations.'
