Zytronic plc ('the Company') announces that pursuant to the exercise of an
option, it has allotted 8,430 Ordinary Shares of 1p each in the Company.  These
shares rank pari passu in all respects with the existing issued Ordinary Shares
in the Company.  Application has been made to The London Stock Exchange for
these shares to be quoted on AIM and it is expected that dealings will commence
on 12 September 2005.
