Balfour Beatty plc, founded in 1909, is an international infrastructure group based in the United Kingdom. Balfour Beatty operates across Construction, Support and Infrastructure Investments. 

Balfour Beatty is a constituent of the FTSE 250 Index.

The company's founders were George Balfour, a mechanical and electrical engineer, and Andrew Beatty, an accountant. Initially focused on tramways, they expanded into electric power, tramway companies, and bus services. During World War I, Balfour Beatty contributed to building army camps.
