Sage Group Plc (SGE) is a British multinational enterprise software company, listed on the London Stock Exchange (LSE) and a constituent of the FTSE 100 Index.
The company was founded by David Goldman, Paul Muller, and Graham Wylie on 27th April 1981 in Newcastle upon Tyne, England. Originally developed to automate the print estimating and basic accounting process in Goldman's own business, Sage has grown into a global market leader in business software and solutions.
