First Day of Dealings

Velocys has spent the past twenty years developing technology that enables the production of sustainable fuels to help decarbonise global aviation. Velocys originated from a University of Oxford technology spin-out company called Oxford Catalysts, which floated on The London Stock Exchange in 2006.

Velocys PLC operates as a fuels technology company. The Company designs, develops, and now licenses proprietary technology for the generation of clean, low carbon, synthetic drop-in aviation, and transport fuel from municipal solid waste and waste woody biomass. Velocys develops two plants to produce fuels that reduce both greenhouse gas emissions and key exhaust pollutants.
