Its hotels include Alexander Pope, Bedford Arms, Brewers Inn, Brook Green Hotel, Bulls Head, Carnarvon Arms, Carpenter’s Arms, City Gate, Coach & Horses, Dog & Fox, Duke’s Head, Dunstan House Inn, Fox & Anchor, Griffin Inn, Hort’s Townhouse, and others. Its pubs include Adam and Eve, Angel & Greyhound, and Bishop’s Vaults, among others. The Company also hosts public gatherings, such as parties, weddings, meetings, and group dining.
The company was founded as a brewery in 1831 by Charles Young and Anthony Bainbridge when they purchased the Ram Brewery in Wandsworth.
