Oxford Biodynamics

Shares in Oxford Biodynamics were under pressure coming out of the weekend break after the company issued a regulatory filing announcing that the CEO had stood down with immediate effect. There were no pleasantries in the statement, instead focusing on the new appointment and the company’s urgent need for additional funding. Without fresh cash early in Q1 2025, problems are seen as being afoot. The Oxford Biodynamics share price was 25% lower shortly after the open.

Computacenter

More boardroom movements, this time from Computacenter whose CFO has relinquished his title and officer duties today, and will leave the business at the end of the month. With the search for a replacement just beginning now, this again has clearly been unexpected and at least some investors will likely be thinking this paves the way for some difficult reading in the next update. The Computacenter share price is off by more than 6% in early trade.

PureTech Health

The clinical stage biotherapeutics firm PureTech Health issued a note to the market this morning regarding an update over drug trials, which offered an encouraging set of results. Management deemed the data as remarkable, particularly for a monotherapy, and - if supported by a Phase 3 trial - would be able to represent a step change in the treatment of IPF (Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis). PureTech shares were up 6.5% before 9am on Monday.
