Centrica plc non-executive director declaration

In accordance with paragraphs 9.6.11 to 9.6.15 of the Listing Rules, Mr Andrew
Mackenzie, who was appointed a non-executive director of Centrica plc on 1
September 2005, has disclosed, that, on appointment, he had no interest in the
ordinary shares of 6 14/81 pence each in Centrica plc.
