Share Repurchase Programme

Centrica plc announces that on 10 October 2014, it purchased (through Goldman Sachs International) 1,100,000 (one million one hundred thousand) Centrica plc ordinary shares at an average price of 296.2010 pence per share. The highest price and the lowest price paid for these shares were 300.00 pence and 293.70 pence respectively.

The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares. As at the date of this announcement, Centrica plc holds 70,126,292 ordinary shares in treasury and has 4,989,801,989 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
