Share Repurchase Programme

Centrica plc announces that on 9 October 2014, it purchased (through Goldman Sachs International) 1,000,000 (one million) Centrica plc ordinary shares at an average price of 303.2451 pence per share. The highest price and the lowest price paid for these shares were 304.70 pence and 301.20 pence respectively.

The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares. As at the date of this announcement, Centrica plc holds 69,220,626 ordinary shares in treasury and has 4,990,707,655 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
