DIRECTOR DEAL

London: 6 December 2011 - ECR Minerals plc announces that on 5 December 2011 it received confirmation of the purchase by Fair Choice Ltd, a company controlled by Michael Silver, Executive Chairman of ECR, of 317,775 ordinary shares of the Company of 0.1 pence at a price of 1.1 pence per share. The transaction was effective as of 30 November 2011.

Michael Silver is now beneficially interested in 18,034,181 ordinary shares of the Company, representing approximately 2.99 per cent of the Company’s total issued share capital.
