Impact of International Financial Reporting Standards
Bovis Homes Group PLC is today holding a technical presentation for analysts and
investors to provide an overview of the impact of International Financial
Reporting Standards (IFRS) on the Company's financial statements. Bovis Homes
Group PLC is required to adopt IFRS from 1 January 2004. As a result, the
Company is required to restate the financial results for the year ended 31
December 2004, which were previously reported under UK Generally Accepted
Accounting Principles (UK GAAP) on 14 March 2005. A document entitled
'Preliminary information on the implementation of International Financial
Reporting Standards', which includes the restated 2004 financial results and
accounting policies that will be applied under IFRS, will be available at the
presentation and on the Company's corporate web site:
www.bovishomesgroup.plc.uk.
The first full reporting under IFRS by Bovis Homes Group PLC will be for the six
months ending 30 June 2005.
The presentation is scheduled to take place at 2:00pm today at the offices of
Deutsche Bank, Winchester House, 1 Great Winchester Street, London, EC2N 2DB.
The presentation slides will also be available on the Company's corporate web
site.
