Notice of intended cancellation of admission to trading on the London Stock
Exchange
The board of M.M.T. announces and M.M.T. Shareholders are hereby notified that,
following the declaration by Microgen plc ('Microgen') on 7 November 2003 that
the offer made on behalf of Microgen for M.M.T. ('Offer') was wholly
unconditional, and in accordance with the terms of the Offer, M.M.T. has today
applied to the UK Listing Authority for the cancellation of the listing of
M.M.T. shares on the Official List and requested cancellation of the admission
of M.M.T. shares to trading on the market for listed securities of the London
Stock Exchange.
Microgen has today issued formal notices under section 429 of the Companies Act
1985 to M.M.T. Shareholders, who have not accepted the Offer to acquire
compulsorily all outstanding M.M.T. Shares on the terms of the Offer.
It is expected that cancellation will become effective from the close of
business on 17 December, 2003 and the notice period for M.M.T. Shareholders has
commenced today.
