                                 Board Change                                  

Following recent major changes to the structure of the Group, the Avingtrans
Board has carefully considered its future requirements with regard to the
composition of the Board itself. To this end, Peter Kenny will be stepping down
from his position on the main Board with immediate effect, to enable him to
concentrate on the performance of the Energy and Medical division, of which he
is the Managing Director. In addition, the Board has decided to formalise an
Executive Committee structure, reporting to the main Board. The Executive
Committee will consist of: CEO, Steve McQuillan, CFO, Stephen King, MD
Aerospace, Mark Johnson and MD Energy & Medical, Peter Kenny.
