ANNOUNCEMENT OF QUARTERLY INTERIM DIVIDEND

The Board of BlackRock North American Income Trust plc is pleased to announce that the third quarterly interim dividend in respect of the financial year ending 31 October 2015 of 1.10p per ordinary share has been declared by the Directors, payable on 7 October 2015 to holders of ordinary shares on the register at the close of business on 14 August 2015 (ex-dividend date is 13 August 2015).
