Fund manager responsibilities
The Board of BlackRock Income and Growth Investment Trust plc has today been
informed that Nick McLeod-Clarke, currently co-manager of the fund, has been
requested by BlackRock to take long-term leave in order to recuperate from poor
health. The Board wishes Nick a full and speedy recovery.
Adam Avigdori, co-manager since 1 April 2012, will assume responsibility as
sole fund manager with immediate effect.
Adam is a key member of the BlackRock UK Equity team, which is one of the
largest in London, having an experienced and talented pool of 19 fund managers
and analysts with almost £21.6 billion under management (as at 31 December
2012). The depth of experience within the UK Equity team will continue to be
available for Adam to draw upon in the management of the fund.
