Voting Rights and Capital
In conformity with the Transparency Directive we would like to notify the
market of the following:
As at 8 November 2010, BlackRock Latin American Investment Trust plc's capital
consists of 43,839,085 Ordinary Shares of 10 cents each, carrying one vote each
and 79,968 bonds of US$1,000 each with no voting rights (although these shares
are considered "qualifying financial instruments" in accordance with the
revised DTR 5). The Company holds no ordinary shares in treasury.
As at 8 November 2010, the total number of voting rights for Ordinary
shareholders in BlackRock Latin American Investment Trust plc is 43,839,085.
The above figure (43,839,085) may be used by shareholders as the denominator
for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to
notify their interest in, or a change to, their interest in BlackRock Latin
American Investment Trust plc under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency
Rules.
