Board Appointment
Bodycote plc, the world's leading provider of thermal processing services is
pleased to announce that Eva Lindqvist will be joining the Board as an
independent non-executive Director on 1 June 2012 and will become a member of
its Audit, Remuneration and Nomination Committees.
Eva Lindqvist spent 20 years at Ericsson, focusing on strategy, production
development and international sales which included overseas assignments in
Japan and USA. In 2000 she joined Telia Sonera the Scandinavian
telecommunications company where she was Senior Vice President, Marketing
Products and Services for its mobile telecoms division. Since 2007 she has
pursued a portfolio career as a non-executive director and is currently a Board
member of three quoted companies, Assa Abloy AB, the global security products
company, Tieto Corporation, the Scandinavian IT services company and Transmode
Holdings AB, a global provider of network solutions.
Eva Lindqvist is a Swedish national with an MSc in Engineering and Applied
Physics from the Linköping Institute of Technology. She also holds an MBA from
the University of Melbourne in Australia.
