RETURN OF CASH TO SHAREHOLDERS - RESULT OF ELECTION FORMS
16 December 2008
Bodycote PLC wishes to provide an update in respect of the Return of Cash,
details of which were set out in the Circular to Shareholders published on 21
November 2008 ("the Circular") and which was approved by Shareholders on 8
December 2008. The latest time for receipt of Election Forms from certificated
Shareholders and USE Instructions from Crest Shareholders in relation to the B
Share Alternatives as defined in the Circular was 3pm on Friday 12 December
2008.
Elections/USE Instructions have been received in respect of the B Share
Alternatives as follows:
* Alternative 1 (Initial Redemption) - in respect of 251,930,137 B Shares;
* Alternative 2 (Single B Share Dividend) - in respect of 70,328,634 B
Shares; and
* Alternative 3 (Final Redemption) - in respect of 1,658,625 B Shares.
