Bodycote announces that Lloyds TSB Offshore Trust Company Limited, as trustee
of the Bodycote Employee Benefit Trust, in which all executive directors and
employees are potentially interested, purchased 300,000 shares at an average
price of 258.58p per share on 17 and 20 August 2007. The trust now holds
2,287,926 Bodycote shares.
The Company has also been notified that the trustees of the Bodycote
International plc Employee Benefit Trust (`the Trust') had allocated 7,530
additional ordinary 10 pence shares in the Company pursuant to the rules of the
Deferred Share Bonus Plan for the benefit of the following directors and PDMRs.
The allocation of shares in the Trust takes into account the 2006 final
dividend paid on the ordinary share capital on 5 July 2007 and in respect of
which the Trust has waived dividend entitlement. The total number of shares now
allocated to each director or PDMR is also shown in the table.
