Standard Life voting rights now at 7.8%

Standard Life Investments Limited notified the Company on 12 June 2009 that as
at 11 June 2009 it held voting rights in respect of 14,562,556 shares of
Bodycote plc representing 7.8% of the voting rights in Bodycote's issued share
capital (previously 8.9% on 17 April 2009).
