                   CHEMRING GROUP PLC COMPLETES DISPOSAL OF                    
                          MARINE ELECTRONICS BUSINESS                          

Chemring Group PLC announces that it has successfully completed the sale of its
McMurdo marine electronics business to Signature Industries Limited. The sale
was first announced on 15 December 2006.
