Chemring Group PLC (the "Company") - Transaction in Own Shares
On 26th January 2010, a total of 14,570 ordinary shares of 5p each were issued
from Treasury into the Chemring Group Performance Share Plan in satisfaction of
the vesting of conditional awards made on 24th January 2007.
On the same date, the Company purchased a total of 4,000 ordinary shares of 5p
each on the London Stock Exchange via Investec Investment Banking. The highest
and lowest price paid was 3142 pence per share.
The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares. Following the above
transactions, the Company holds a total of 200,453 ordinary shares as treasury
shares and has a total of 35,385,379 ordinary shares in issue (excluding shares
held in Treasury).
