DISCLOSURE OF INTEREST

The company was notified on 5th November by Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein
Group Limited, an indirect subsidiary of Allianz AG, that Allianz AG and its
subsidiaries now hold a notifiable interest in 9,588,953 ordinary shares of 5p
each in the Company, representing 11.339% of the total shares in issue.
Included in this holding is the interest of Veer Palthe Voute NV which is
interested in 9,563,338 shares representing 11.308% of the shares in issue.
