                       High performance processor board                        

Concurrent Technologies Plc ("Concurrent" or the "Company"), a world leading
specialist in the design and manufacture of high-end embedded computer
products, announces the launch of its latest high performance 6U CompactPCI®
processor board - the PP 531/06x.

The board augments the Company's existing family of 6U CompactPCI® boards and
has been designed specifically to address the requirements of high performance
processing within commercial and harsh environments.

It uses one of the latest families of dual-core processors from Intel®'s
embedded long life roadmap - either the 2.26 GHz or the 1.86 GHz Intel® Core™ 2
Duo processor. The combination of high performance data processing, a large
amount of on board memory and a range of I/O interfaces makes the PP 531/06x
suitable for processing demanding applications within the defense, industrial
control and transportation markets. Commercial, extended temperature and
ruggedized versions are also available which should further increase its
appeal.
