Product Launch
New VME board with market leading specifications
Concurrent Technologies Plc (the "Company") a world leading specialist in the
design and manufacture of high-end embedded computer products, announces the
launch of its latest dual processor single board computer, the VP 426/23x.
Using two Intel® Xeon® processors, this board supports the newer, faster VME
bus interface and the combination of high performance data processing, large
amounts of memory and flexible input/output interfaces ensures that it has one
of the highest specifications for this type of computer available today. In
addition, with extended temperature versions available, the board is suitable
for processing intensive applications within the defence, security,
communications, telemetry, scientific and aerospace markets. It will allow both
existing and new customers high performance for low power processing
capabilities.
Glen Fawcett, Managing Director, commented:
"This new board demonstrates our commitment to delivering the latest technology
in the highest specifications, in this case into the VME market. This high
performance board will allow existing users increased processing capabilities,
with an improvement in measured performance/watt over earlier generations. We
continue to focus on bringing forward products that utilise the latest
platforms and components to ensure the best possible computer boards for our
customers."
