              Transaction in Own Shares & Disclosure of Dealings               

The Board of Crystal Amber Fund Limited announces that on 10 October 2014, the
Company purchased 569,000 of its own ordinary shares of 1p each ("Ordinary
Shares") at a price of 130p per share. These shares will be held as treasury
shares.

Following this transaction, the total number of Ordinary Shares held as
treasury shares by the Company is 2,576,856. The total number of Ordinary
Shares in issue (excluding shares held as treasury shares) is 75,652,809.

The Company also announces that Crystal Amber Asset Management (Guernsey)
Limited ("Crystal Amber Asset Management"), which is investment manager to the
Company purchased on 10 October 2014 a total of 110,000 Ordinary Shares in the
issued share capital of the Company, equivalent to 0.15 per cent. of the voting
share capital of the Company. The shares were purchased at a price of 130p per
share.

Following the purchase, Crystal Amber Asset Management now holds a total of
3,600,000 Ordinary Shares, equivalent to 4.76 per cent. of the voting share
capital of the Company.
