Diageo plc (the "Company") announces that in accordance with paragraph 9.6.1 of
the Listing Rules, two original copies of the Annual Report and Summary Review
for the year ended 30 June 2008 have been lodged today with the UK Listing
Authority for publication through the Document Viewing Facility, together with
the following documents:

  * Notice of 2008 Annual General Meeting
   
  * Form of Proxy/Letter of Direction/Electronic Communications card; and
   
  * Corporate Citizenship Report 2008 request card
   
Shareholder documents can be accessed on the Company's website, at 
www.diageo.com

The Company further announces that in accordance with paragraph 6.1.2 of the
Disclosure and Transparency Rules, two copies of its Articles of Association
showing the amendments to be proposed at the Company's forthcoming Annual
General Meeting on 15 October 2008 have been lodged today with the UK Listing
Authority for publication through the Document Viewing Facility.
