                              Holdings in Company                              

Eurovestech has been notified today that, following the purchase on 21 July
2006 of 1,603,200 ordinary shares, equivalent to 0.51 per cent. of the issued
share capital of the Company, AMVESCAP PLC and subsidiary companies on behalf
of discretionary clients have an interest in 66,900,819 ordinary shares of 1p
each in Eurovestech, equivalent to 21.3 per cent of the issued share capital of
the Company.

The above holding includes a notifiable interest in the Company held by INVESCO
Perpetual UK ICVC Series, which holds 54,024,019 ordinary shares of 1p each in
Eurovestech, equivalent to 17.20 per cent of the issued share capital of the
Company, which is registered in the name of Vidacos Nominees Limited.
