Non Executive Director Appointment
John Dunsmore
Fuller, Smith & Turner P.L.C. ("Fuller's"), London's only remaining traditional
family brewer, today announces that John Dunsmore, formerly Chief Executive at
Scottish and Newcastle P.L.C., has been appointed to the Fuller's Board as a
Non Executive Director, with effect from January 20, 2009.
Michael Turner, Chairman of Fuller's, said: "We are delighted that John has
agreed to join the Board. He has a wealth of experience which we feel will be
invaluable to Fuller's and I am very pleased to welcome him to the team."

John Dunsmore is former Chief Executive of Scottish & Newcastle P.L.C. prior to
its takeover by Heineken and Carlsberg last year. He was recently appointed
Chief Executive of C&C Group P.L.C., the makers of Magners Irish Cider.
Pursuant to paragraph 9.6.13 of the Listing Rules, it is confirmed that in
relation to Mr Dunsmore, disclosable directorships in the last five years are
Scottish & Newcastle P.L.C. (former directorship) and C&C Group P.L.C. (current
directorship). There are no further details required to be disclosed under
paragraphs 9.6.13 (2) to (6).

Mr Dunsmore started his career as a graduate trainee at S&N in 1980. Following
senior roles at Wood Mackenzie, and brewer Marston, Thompson & Evershed, he
became Head of UK Equities at NatWest Securities, before returning to S&N in
1996. He was managing director of S&N's key UK division from 2002-2004, and
subsequently managing director for the whole of Western Europe before being
appointed Chief Executive of the entire group in 2007. He is a former chairman
of the British Beer & Pub Association and former board member of the Drinkaware
Trust and trustee of the Portman Group.
