Correction : Transaction in Own Shares

The announcement titled Transaction in Own Shares released today at 13:57
contained an error. The price per share contained within the announcement of
1.65 pence is incorrect, the correct price is 165 pence per share.

EP Global Opportunities Trust plc

The Company announces that on 22 May 2007 it purchased 50,000 of its own
Ordinary 1p shares at a price of 165 pence per share. These shares have been
placed into Treasury.

Following this transaction, the Company has 50,000 Ordinary shares held in
Treasury and 33,948,180 Ordinary shares in circulation. The total number of
shares is issue remains as 33,998,180.
