EP Global Opportunities Trust plc (the "Company")

The Company has been informed that following the issue of new ordinary shares
to shareholders in Anglo & Overseas Plc in connection with the scheme of
reconstruction and voluntary winding up of Anglo & Overseas Plc, Mr Ian McBean
now has an additional interest in the Company of 12,320 ordinary shares. The
shares were issued at a deemed issue price of 186.29p per ordinary share.

Mr Ian McBean now has a holding of 187,320 ordinary shares in the Company which
represents 0.32% of the total voting rights.
