Peter Woods OBE appointed Chairman                       

Image Scan Holdings PLC, a provider of leading real-time multi-view, X-ray
imaging solutions, is pleased to announce the appointment of Peter Woods OBE as
Chairman of the Company.

Peter Woods, already a non-executive director of the Company, has extensive
management experience and knowledge of key market sectors relevant to Image
Scan Holdings PLC and its subsidiary 3D X-Ray Limited. Peter has been Chairman
and Chief Executive of Rover Group Japan Ltd (BMW Rover Group), with wide
experience of Japan, Australia and South Africa and has executive and
consultant experience with large and small businesses, NGOs and governments.

Peter Woods holds 1,428,571 shares (4.1% of the issued share capital) and
80,000 options granted on 25th April at 15p. He is currently also Chairman at
Transense Technologies PLC.

Peter Woods' appointment follows the decision by Ian Johnson to step down as
Chairman but to remain on the board as a director.

In recognition of Ian Johnson's continuing commitment to the company he has
been issued options under the Image Scan Holdings plc Unapproved Share Option
Scheme of 80,000 ordinary 1p shares at an exercise price of 15p per share.

Peter Woods' appointment comes into immediate effect .
