Realisation of investment in PastaKing Holdings Limited
The Board of The Income & Growth VCT plc is pleased to announce that the
Ordinary Share Fund of the Company has fully realised its investment in
PastaKing Holdings, the Newton Abbott based award winning supplier of fresh
pasta meals to the education sector and industry.
The Fund's investment in PastaKing was sold to NBGI Private Equity for net
proceeds of some £779,000 on 14 November 2009. This realisation contributed to
total proceeds of some £949,000 to the Company over the life of the investment,
representing a 3.25 fold gain on the Company's original investment of £292,405.
The proceeds realised above were reflected in the most recently announced net
asset value per share at 30 June 2009, so the sale has no material impact on
the Company's net asset value.
The Company's net asset value at 30 September 2009 is scheduled to be announced
as part of the announcement of the Company's annual results by early December.
