Correction : Transaction in Own Shares

The Issuer wishes to announce that the total number of ordinary shares in issue
following the transaction was incorrectly stated on the annoucement released on
20 July 2012. The correct number of ordinary shares in circulation is
92,566,858 and in issue is 93,165,757.

HEADLINE: PURCHASE OF ORDINARY SHARES FOR TREASURY

Invesco Asia Trust plc announces that on 20 July 2012, it purchased for
treasury 598,899 ordinary shares of 10p each at a price of 136.75p per share.

Following this transaction, the Company has 598,899 ordinary shares held in
treasury and 92,566,858 ordinary shares in circulation. The total number of
ordinary shares in issue is 93,165,757.
