HEADLINE:   PURCHASE OF ORDINARY SHARES FOR CANCELLATION

Invesco Asia Trust plc announces that on 17 February 2016, it purchased for cancellation 12,399 ordinary shares of 10p each at a price of 166.00p per share.

Following this transaction, the Company has 3,277,224 ordinary shares held in treasury and 86,431,511 ordinary shares in circulation.  The total number of ordinary shares in issue is 89,708,735.
