Lancashire Holdings Limited (the "Company") today announces the resignation of
Simon Burton as a director of the Company. Simon, who is leaving Lancashire
Group to pursue other opportunities, will remain employed by the Company until
30 June 2010.
Richard Brindle, the Company's Chief Executive Officer, commented: "Simon
joined Lancashire in 2006, shortly after the group's formation. I have valued
his intellect and his contribution to the success of the Group since then. I am
sorry that he has decided to leave us to pursue other opportunities and I wish
him well."
Martin Thomas, Chairman, added: "I would like to thank Simon for his
contribution to the work of the Board during his time as a Director of the
Company and I wish him every success for the future."
Simon Burton commented: "I have been glad to be a part of Lancashire's
achievements over the last few years. Now that the Company is firmly
established as part of the insurance world it is time for me to seek new
challenges. I hope that the Company continues to prosper after my departure."
