                   Proposed acquisition of APL Ocean Limited                   

                                 Result of EGM                                 

The Board of London & Associated Properties PLC (the "Company") announces that,
at the extraordinary general meeting of the Company which took place earlier
today, the resolution put to shareholders of the Company (being that set out in
the notice of extraordinary general meeting included in the Company's circular
dated 25 August 2006) was duly passed with the requisite majority.

[The Company expects to be able to announce the completion of the acquisition
of APL Ocean Limited on or before 30 September 2006.]
