Director/PDMR Shareholding

The Company announces that the following awards to directors were granted on 27
November 2006 under the Rules of the Company's 2006 Long Term Incentive Plan
(LTIP) as follows:

Both types of award have been granted at nil consideration and relate to
ordinary shares of 10p each. The vesting of the TSR-based awards at the
aggregate exercise price of £1 is contingent upon the satisfaction of specified
performance conditions over a five year period ending on 27 November 2011. The
matching awards relate to 50% of the 2006 bonuses also have an aggregate
exercise price of £1 but have no performance conditions attached apart from the
continuation of employment with the Company for three years from the date of
the award.

The TSR-based awards granted on 27 January 2006 have been increased by 595
shares for Robert Clarke and 427 shares for Gillian Leates in respect of the
interim dividend of 3.4p on 7 June 2006.

Following these awards Robert Clarke and Gillian Leates have the following
interests in the Company's shares:
