Majedie Investments PLC announces the appointment of David Henderson and the
resignation of Chris Arnheim as non-executive directors of the Company, each
with effect from 22 September 2011. David will become a member of the Audit,
Remuneration, Nomination and Management Engagement Committees. 

Andrew Adcock, chairman of Majedie said "We are delighted to announce that
David Henderson has agreed to join the Board; I am sure he will be a valuable
addition bringing as he does considerable experience as a non-executive
director and having served for several years on the Board of Kleinwort Benson
Private Bank, latterly as Chairman. David is also a director of Novae Plc,
Cenkos Securities Plc and Healthcare Locums Plc. 

I thank Chris Arnheim for his contributions during his time as a Majedie
director." 

There are no details required to be disclosed pursuant to Listing Rule 9.6.13R
in respect of the appointment of David Henderson.
