POPAI award win and new business update
MediaZest, the creative digital out-of-home advertising company, is pleased to
announce it has won its second major industry award at the POPAI awards
(Point-of-Purchase Advertising International) this week. The Company's trading
subsidiary, TouchVision Limited, took a silver prize for instore work with HMV
on their revamped headphone tables, which launched with great success in late
2011.
In addition, the Board is pleased to announce significant new business wins
since the last trading update in mid June 2012. Subsequent to that update the
Company has confirmed new business project orders totalling over £800,000 with
delivery completed in the intervening period or expected to be finished within
the next nine months. This includes work from existing and new clients across
the retail, education, and hospitality sectors. Ongoing contractual recurring
revenues for this period based on current contracts in addition to these new
business projects is expected to be in the region of £300,000-£400,000.
There are several other key opportunities that the Company hope to crystallise that
will add to this total in the coming months and a strong pipeline
of new business opportunities that will also contribute and assist in driving
the business forward.
The Board are particularly pleased to note confirmed projects include some work
in the United States as the Group looks to exploit its unique positioning in
territories outside of Europe in the current economic climate. As the Group
strives to add recurring revenues, increased interest in the services it
provides is leading to more opportunities to move the business model towards
more predictable revenues, based on repeat consulting fees as opposed to
project work. This will in turn allow the Group to move to more consistent
revenues and profitability.
