ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
At today's Annual General Meeting of betinternet.com plc (`betinternet' or `the
Company'), the global on-line gaming company, it was announced that Burnbrae
Limited had exercised the option, which it was granted when it entered into its

Following Mr. Mellon's appointment, Mr Vincent Caldwell will remain as Managing
Director of betinternet.
The Company was also able to confirm that the subscription agreement by
Burnbrae Limited and others for 8,000,000 new ordinary 1p shares issued at 10p
