Parity Group plc
Parity Group plc ('Parity'), the IT services group, announces that after more
than 5 years as a Non-executive Director, Henry Angest has decided to retire
from the Parity Group Board on 30 November 2002 in order to focus more
exclusively on his principal role as Chairman and Chief Executive of Secure
Trust Banking Group. Alastair Macdonald will become Chairman of the
Remuneration Committee in succession to Henry.
Henry Angest said 'I have very much enjoyed my non-executive role at Parity
over the past 5 years. Although I will not be a member of the Board, I will
nevertheless be available to give my personal advice to colleagues as
appropriate.'
Bill Cockburn, Parity Chairman said 'We are all very grateful to Henry for his
considerable contribution to Parity and wish him continued success for the
future. We have greatly valued his support for the team and the strategy.'
Following Henry Angest's retirement, the Non-executive directors on the Board
will comprise Bill Cockburn, Chairman, Billy Carbutt, Alastair Macdonald and
John Maxwell.
