Parity signs multi-million BT contract
Parity Group plc ('Parity' or 'the Group'), the IT services group, announced on
11 December 2002 that it had signed Letters of Intent to enter into a
three-part agreement with BT plc ('BT').
The agreement involved firstly the outsourcing by Parity of its IT hardware and
telecoms infrastructure to BT, secondly the award of a contract by BT to Parity
to manage a number of BT Ignite's technical consultants and thirdly, an
agreement by BT and Parity to pursue joint market opportunities for Parity and
BT services.
The Group confirms that contracts for the first two elements of the agreement
have now been signed.
