RB Appoints
EVP Category Development Organisation
Reckitt Benckiser (RB) has appointed Heather Allen as executive vice president
(EVP) category development organisation; the role became vacant by Rakesh
Kapoor's appointment as CEO designate. The role places Heather Allen on the RB
executive committee and is effective 16 May 2011.
Heather Allen, Canadian, is currently global category officer germ protection,
surface and personal care, and has been with the business since 1996. After
doing a number of senior marketing roles in Eastern Europe, Heather became
marketing director of the USA in 1999. She was appointed general manager of
Canada in 2003 and joined the global head office in the UK as a global category
officer in 2006.
The EVP category development organisation role is based in the UK HQ.
