BOARD CHANGES
GERRY MURPHY APPOINTED NON EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Reckitt Benckiser plc (RB.L) today announced the appointment of Gerry Murphy as
a non-executive director.
Gerry Murphy (49) has been Chief Executive Officer of Kingfisher plc since
2003. Previously he was Chief Executive Officer of media group Carlton
Communications plc, global logistics firm Exel plc and food manufacturer
Greencore Group plc. Earlier in his career, he held various senior positions
with food and drink group Grand Metropolitan plc (now Diageo plc) in Ireland,
the UK and USA.
Adrian Bellamy, Chairman of Reckitt Benckiser plc, commented
'The Board is very pleased that Gerry has agreed to join us. He will bring a
wide range of business experience to the Board covering brand marketing,
retailing and supply chain management. I am sure he will make a significant
