20 June 2005 BOARD CHANGES GERRY MURPHY APPOINTED NON EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR Reckitt Benckiser plc (RB.L) today announced the appointment of Gerry Murphy as a non-executive director. Gerry Murphy (49) has been Chief Executive Officer of Kingfisher plc since 2003. Previously he was Chief Executive Officer of media group Carlton Communications plc, global logistics firm Exel plc and food manufacturer Greencore Group plc. Earlier in his career, he held various senior positions with food and drink group Grand Metropolitan plc (now Diageo plc) in Ireland, the UK and USA.
